Technology can play an important role as an integral part of life, and will become increasingly so in the future as society moves to a more technologically advanced level (Franks & Wood, 1997; Silverman, 1997). Technology is a key element in our rapidly changing world and teachers are expected to possess the knowledge, skills, and dispositions to effectively apply technology to the education of today’s youth (International Society for Technology Education, 2000). Technology and society seem always to be in a state of change. Teachers can now find and use a variety of resources to help them present interesting and relevant information to students.
